In unit 2 I learned specifics about the different parts of speech. The unit discussed the different types of nouns and I specifically learned what countable and uncountable nouns are. Then the unit touched on adjectives and I learned about superlatives and the rule for when to use the -est ending or something like the word most before an adjective. Likewise the unit talked about indefinite and definite articles, transitive and intransitive verbs, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions. Another thing the unit touched on that I was previously unaware of was gerunds which are verbs ending in -ing that are used as nouns.
