This was a very difficult unit. I don't often use these forms of grammar, and so learning them in a formal setting for the first time is quite a challenge. However, these units of grammar are important to teach students learning English, and so I must make an effort to engage with these materials, and better understand how to teach them. Each of the teaching ideas for modals was very interesting, and I look forward to implementing them in my own practice. I am feeling more comfortable with my knowledge of the passive voice, and I will make use of the chart if I ever need to refer back my understanding of the passive.
