This unit was interesting in that you are learning basic and advanced ways of teaching. You are learning methods and theories. What way is best to teach? How can we know f a student is learning? It can be hard if you only go by one method. Leaning to allow your student the freedom to learn and you stepping back is important. It is also important to praise a student for what they are learning and gently encourage them to use proper ways of speech when needed. I have always used a sandwich method. "You are doing such a great job. Let's try that word again. Wow, that is good, you have come a long way!"
