In this unit, I learned about important factors to think about when creating a lesson plan and activities for speaking and writing. For speaking, I learned that it is important to incorporate activities that improve accuracy and fluency of the students English. To help with student's confidence levels and to promote more student communication it is important to pique their interest and give them enough time to practice accuracy before moving on to fluency activities. For writing, It is important that we give students enough time to write. There are factors such as handwriting, punctuation and writing styles that need to be practiced. The more expose students have to these differences the more they can learn.
