In unit 10: Lesson Plans I was able to see the difference between an effective lesson and an unorganized lesson. In the first video the teacher did go through his lesson plan but because he was not being an effective teacher. He was not welcoming or pleasant and did not give any type of encouraging feedback.
The teacher in the second video, however, came in to the class with a positive attitude and maintain that attitude throughout the lesson. He was very engaging and encouraged the students to do the same. He was well organized and his entire lesson from start to finished was well planned out and easy to follow when students wrote their own notes. He also checked for understanding throughout the lesson.
