Unit 6 explores the past tense which make up the English language. This subject was built on the existing knowledge of the present tense. All four forms of the past tense are covered, i.e. past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous. This chapter covers the structures and usages of the past tense that allows teachers to teach their students effectively. It also examines different teaching ideas and activities that can be adopted to teach past tense in the classroom.
