In this unit, I learned about the use of course material and how to effectively use the course material while teaching English. The big factor to note about course material is to not always follow the course material found in books but to adjust the material when necessary. The course material in books are published to a general audience. It won't cover any specific issues that you might have with the students which can be a specific issue only noted in the group that you are teaching. Therefore, you want to be flexible and adjust to the students needs.
