Course materials and books are also important in language teaching. Both authentic and created materials are useful and can be used jointly by the teacher. Authentic materials like a video recording can be used with a teacher created activity. Whilst the recording would provide the students with correct pronunciation, for example, the teacher created activity or worksheet will provide the students with a carefully created activity based on the students'level of language development. There are careful considerations that need to be made in selecting coursebooks and materials. Created materials become handy since they can be Graded to the level of the students yet authentic ones can be used to evaluate and assess the level of development of the students.
