In this unit, I studied about evaluation and testing. We looked at different ways of evaluating students' levels and progress.There are different kinds of tests we give to students: placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests and general external examinations. For each type of tests, we analyzed the advantages, given time, and test contents. For external examinations, we discussed about TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC. Except for that, Cambridge assessment is also shared. It includes tests for general english, for life skills and for business English.
Thanks to this unit, I got to know most tests we have for students.
