This unit serves as a powerful source for lesson planning and what to include in the lesson in terms of materials. To me, it taught me the importance of activities and the use of authentic materials in class rather than sticking only to the course books. So it was great to summarise the advantages and disadvantages of using different materials in class. Finally I find myself going back to Unit 3 a lot to make sure of the activities suitable for the ESA phases. I am starting to feel comfortable using the units as resources and I feel good about it.
