This unit covered the types of special groups that will be taught English. These groups include: Beginners, Young Learners, Business English, and Individual lessons. Each of these groups has their advantages and disadvantages. In this unit the reading material gives very good tips on how to approach teaching each group, what each group motivations may be and how to conduct a class that will be successful at teaching the material. I was very interested in the Business English section because it is an area that I have the least experience in but would like to teach in the future. I think that understanding each groups different motivations and styles is extremely helpful in creating a good learning environment.
