I really appreciated this lesson because I think that many of the tips were relevant to adult students as well. I've tried mixing up the seating arrangement for my English conversation class several times, but I didn't have the knowledge to justify or appropriately make these changes. Now, I understand how to better understand how to assess the planned activities and change the seating accordingly. I also appreciated the tips for when I'm writing on the board. I often try to write on the board beforehand, but now I'll try to think of more opportunities for students to come to the board in a non-intimidating way and write on it for themselves. I think I might try to make group-based activities that utilize the board.
I often do group online tutoring classes, however, so I would hav appreciated more tips for online classroom management via video chat.
