In this unit we learned ways to present new language and we also reviewed examples of how this can be done within the ESA model we learned about in unit 3. The unit covered techniques for teaching new vocabulary, new grammar, and new language functions. Pretty much all of the information in this chapter was new for me except the ESA concepts, so I feel like I learned a lot. I really appreciated how the document provided us examples of what we could do for each stage (engage, study, and activate) and also provided examples of actual lessons for us.
