This unit faces the topic of pronunciation and phonology. Although it's a difficult and very often negleted topic to teach, it's very important to do so in order for the students to speak correctly and gain confidence in their speaking skill. Not being familiar with this topic I found very hepful the examples given to explain the main patterns of intonation with the corrisponding meaning (rise/fall- fall/rise). Also the table of the phonemic symbols and the corrisponding exercises were very good to get familiarity with the new information. I also found very helpful the techniques for teaching both intonation and phonology.
