Within this section, I think the writing portion outweighs the speaking only because of my experience with native speakers, being able to speak their own language yet cannot write it (or read it). Writing, then reading the content of the work aloud might help produce better understanding and perhaps better fluidity in English. Accuracy at the start is important so that fluency will fall naturally into place. With the speaking production, I like recording so that when we go over errors with a reading section in hand, I can better correct them. I would do this in a private manner.
