Unit 18 is focused on Modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. Modal auxiliary verbs are can, could, may might, should, shall, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't and ought to. We use modals to express obligation, possibility/ probability, permission/ prohibition, ability and advice. This unit also gives ideas to teach modals at class. Next, unit 18 explains about passive voice. There are some forms for passive voice, depend on the tenses. Also, we can find teaching ideas and usage of passive voice. The most difficult part is phrasal verbs. We have to understand and remember which phrasal verbs are intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable.
