Unit 5 has helped me understand the various ways a teacher can use space in the classroom. It was interesting to read about the way a teacher can position her students and how these positions can influence the students. I also learnt how important eye contact can be to the students. It was interesting to see how eye contact can have great importance. Since I am not an individual with a very high tone of voice, the eye contact can help me show students what I am trying to communicate. I agree that there is no use in shouting as I have seen this through experience. Little children for example respond more to eye contact. I also liked learning about the rapport and class spirit. It has given me fresh new ideas on how I can set up classroom activities.
