These videos were helpful, as I was able to clearly see the difference between having a positive attitude, versus having a more negative attitude, and its impact on the class. Maintaining a positive atmosphere in the classroom is important not just for the teacher, but also the students. I also realized that the speed and tone of my voice are very important. I struggled to understand the teacher in the first lesson, which must have been nearly impossible for an ESL student to understand. Finally, ensuring that my explanations are clear will be important for my future lessons.
