Unit 8 of the ITTT TEFL Course explains the seven most common future tenses of the English language. The seven most common tenses are: future simple; future continuous; future perfect; future perfect continuous; 'going to' future; present simple and present continuous. This unit also covers the form, usage, common mistakes and suggested activation stage activities for each of these seven future tenses. The most illuminating aspect of this unit for me were--as they are with all the verb tense units--the tense usages. To understand how and when to use each tense makes teaching that tense much easier.
