Our final unit focused on “troubleshooting,” or how to solve common problems that teachers experience. The document provided multiple situations or issues that might arise, looked at why these problems might come up, and discussed how we can best address these issues in our classrooms. I felt that all of the information in this chapter was very helpful, and I especially appreciated the part about first day activities. It was something I had not thought about, but I know I will definitely be nervous on my first day of teaching, so having some guidance about what I should do with that first day is definitely helpful.
