Common problem situations.
First Lesson: new group or existing group.
Warmers: Typical warmer ideas include- hangman, pictionary, tongue twisters and memory games.
Different levels: use different materials or same materials with different tasks and pair strong students with weaker ones.
Large class: use worksheets, pair/group work and appoint group leaders.
Reluctant students: use role-play, plenty of pair work and controlled practice.
Use of Native Language: Make sure the activities you are using are appropriate for the class and students and make sure your explanations are clear to all class members.
