This unit described the various roles that a teacher may have in the classroom (manager, model, participant, etc.), and it discussed what makes a student a good learner. I learned that as students come from many different types of backgrounds (language level, age, culture, etc.), it is incredibly important for a teacher to be flexible and supportive. It is important for teachers to build bonds with their students to help them learn.
