In this last unit we learn about some of the different problems teachers can face in the classroom and different methods for dealing with said problems. Teachers will often meet new classes for the first time, either with new groups or existing ones. These first classes are important for the teacher to establish rapport and the tone of the class. When the class starts it is good for the teacher to start with some warmers, this will help get the class warmed up and ready for the main activities. Another problem teachers face is the varying levels of fluency students will posses in a single class. Teachers can also have problems with larger classes, students’ use of their native language during classroom activities, reluctant students, difficulty with listening texts and issues with some students finishing tasks faster than others.
