This unit was helpful in teaching me how different groups of students can vary. Children will have different needs to students that are older and are learning English for Business purposes(for example). This unit gave me an over view on how a teacher needs to set a different type of lesson for each group of learners. This was a very helpful unit to reflect on how a teacher needs to plan her lessons and meet the needs of her learners. Methodology and techniques vary for every language lesson goal a teacher is trying to achieve with her students. This also ties to previous units where we observed how lesson planning is important and how a teacher needs to consider a variety of factors when creating her lesson plans.
