A more practical lesson, this unit covers equipment and teaching aids for the classroom. The first is the board. When using any board, it is beneficial to have your notes and boardwork ready before class so to best space out what the students see. Clean handwriting, color changes, and essential notes are important takeaways. Next mentioned is the interactive whiteboard. This was the most informative for me as, frankly, I'd never heard or seen one before. The unit also covers older or obsolete tech like overhead projectors and cassette players. Visual aids and worksheets are also reviewed (as they had been covered in previous lessons). In my opinion, the most useful section of this unit was the pages of resource links provided. A teacher is always looking for better ways to present the same material, either by updating it, tailoring it towards students,checking its accuracy, or simply making it more exciting. These links go a long way towards doing this.
