Unit 12 is focused on teaching productive skills. There are two productive skills; speaking and writing. In speaking skills, there are accuracy activities and fluency activities. Both of them are important. Accuracy activities can measure how well students understand the lessons while fluency is about how students use the language creatively. This unit also showed some techniques to encourage interaction. In writing skills, there are some important aspects such as handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation. The examples of creative speaking and writing activity in this unit are very useful for me. It can be a guide for lesson plan to be applied in my class.
