Productive skills are just as important as reading and listening skills. A balance of all 4 skills would be optimal but as we all know even with me there is never a balance but an ever learning process. That's ok though, it keeps us moving forward. Practice may not make us perfect but it can surely make us better. Having insight into what it takes to accomplish a confident level of writing and speaking makes us or should make us better and working L2 learners. The guidance presented in this lesson is very well put together and again for those of us venturing into the ESL realm a necessary lesson. I learned quite a bit in such a short lesson and will definitely bring this information along with me.
