I had never given much consideration to how handwriting might play into teaching English in a foreign country; this unit provided some very useful advice when it comes to teaching writing skills in particular. Like I've said in the past, I am most appreciative of the examples provided for the Straight Arrow method of teaching. I hope to use some of these tactics in my classroom in the future. I would like it if there a bit more covered on the importance of punctuation. While it doesn't seem to be prioritized, I wonder, how much emphasis should be put on correct punctuation? Reading through these units truly gets me excited about teaching in the classroom.
