This unit covers the teaching of productive skills, which is writing and speaking. Teachers should encourage different forms of communication in order to practice these skills. The accuracy and fluency of the skills are equally important and thus the practice thereof should be balanced. When doing these activities, teachers should only correct the students afterwards and not interrupt them. Playing games related to practicing these skills are recommended because games have rules, goals and it is fun.
