The two videos viewed for this lesson were actually very helpful in showing what to and what not to do for a lesson. In the first video, the teacher spoke fast and was very much dismissive, only drilling on things he thought were important, but not making sure the students were understanding. Likewise, the lesson was very, very rushed; the teacher cut out the activities for them to practice, or if it was there, they cut it very short. On the flip side, the second lesson was much more positive; the students were very engaged, and the teacher made it a point to allow the students to interact with the grammar, both during the study and the activity sections. He also spoke slow and repeated as needed, and generally made the class fun and upbeat.
