As someone who has been teaching for several years, the first video was frustrating to watch. I can only imagine what students would have felt. The teacher's attitude very clearly has an impact on the students. Something as simple as smiling and engaging individuals with respect goes a long way in a classroom. As for the second video, watching the lesson in action was far more impactful than merely reading about the techniques. The teacher used his board throughout the lesson, which helped students to both keep track of the lesson and as a reference. Their notes were also much more thorough.
