Unit 12 teaches about productive skill, which includes speaking and writing . In the area of productive skill, it is understood that most students prefer speaking to writing due to various reasons, writing can be difficult, it can bring cause some silence in the classroom, students find it less motivating and tiring. But in as much as it complex, writing is still very important and cannot be over looked. Productive skill consist of 2 major activities which are accuracy and fluency, i think they are both needed ,although, fluency is most acceptable by most people in order to experiment with the language.
