Sentences involving the Future Perfect Continuous are not used very often when reading, writing, and speaking English. The structure seems awkward to me as a Native speaker and I rarely use it. Two present tenses are often used to describe future events, the Present Continuous and the Present Simple. When considering future arrangements, the Present Continuous is often used ("I am meeting Linda tomorrow for lunch.") The Present Simple is often used for scheduled events or events with a timetable such as: "My airplane leaves at 8 p.m. tonight." The most difficult part of this section is explaining to beginning learners why one tense is used instead of another.
