This unit discusses some common situations that might cause problems for teachers in the classroom. Among these are meeting a class for the first time, teaching classes of different levels or large classes, dealing with students who want to speak in their native language, encouraging reluctant students to speak, and helping students who have difficulty listening to texts. In this unit, I feel that I have learned that by re-strategizing in-class activities, many of the problems teachers might face can be addressed.
