Unit nine taught me to think more deeply about how I will construct my future lesson plans. I want to be able to construct lessons that utilize the engage, study, and activate method in a way that allows my students to achieve the learner objectives for that day. I also want to improve my teaching skills by setting realistic personal aims for myself. I will likely be working with beginner English learners, so I want to make sure that my lessons include easy to understand language and repetition of key learning points. I know that my students will likely be making many errors as new learners of English, but I hope that a well-designed lesson plan can help me anticipate the mistakes they make and have ideas on how to gently correct these mistakes.
