In the eighteenth unit of our ITTT course titled "Modals, Phrasal Verbs, and Passive Voice", we learned about the structure and rules concerning modal auxiliary verbs, the passive voice, relative clauses, and phrasal verbs. In the first section, we learned about the rules concerning modal auxiliary verbs which include its’ ability to express numerous different ideas such as obligation, possibility, permission, ability, and advice, and can be utilized to help teach roleplay, rules, and signs to your class students. The second section of the chapter, we learned about the passive voice which takes the form of an auxiliary verb ‘be’ + a past participle and is most commonly used when the passive is not important, is not known, or when you do not want to say. The third section of chapter talked about the three relative clauses which include independent clauses, the dependent clauses, and the relative clause. In the fourth section, we learned about phrasal verbs which include Type 1 intransitive verbs, Type 2 transitive verbs, and Type 3 transitive inseparable verbs.
