This unit, as its title suggests, presents a wide variety of equipment and teaching aid that can be used in a classroom. Although, the availability of some these equipments can be limited in certain regions and schools; due to their cost effectiveness, most of them should have some of the items mentioned in this unit available for their staff. As it is stated in this unit and in some of the previous ones, the teacher should not solely rely on electronic equipments during the lesson and always have a back-up plan/system in place in form of a traditional lesson plan and a variety of more simple yet ever so reliable teaching aids such as realia, pictures and photos, role-play cards, paper worksheets, etc.
Nowadays, in the internet-era, even if the resources are not virtually unlimited they are still vastly present and readily available to the teacher to use, to get inspiration from or to create any teaching aid to supplement, adapt or replace parts of the lesson to make it more suitable for the particular class taught and to make any type of lesson more interesting, effective and absorbable by the students.
