Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

In the seventeenth unit of our ITTT course titled "Equipment and Teaching Aids", we learned about the different uses for classroom tools like white boards, black boards, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets, recorders, CD players, videos and DVD players, video cameras, dictionaries, course books, resource books, a photocopier, computers, and online resources. In the first section, we learned about the different principles of use for blackboards and white-boards which include starting with a clean board, writing neatly, keeping the board well-organized, erasing unneeded text, and cleaning the board when finished. The second unit talked about overhead projectors and listed improved student attention, the ability to model grammar, the permitting for teachers to write more carefully, and their usefulness for providing feedback. In the third section, we learned about the different uses for visual aids which include illustrating sentence meanings, attracting attention, stimulating conversation, and presenting new vocabulary. In the fourth section, we learned that worksheets can be adapted as printed material, can act as prompt cards, can be used for writing, and can be used for role-play games. In the fifth section, we learned that CD players and DVD players can teach the students with visual and audiovisual media recordings which tend to be more attention grabbing then simple text or word documents. In the sixth section, we learned about the proper uses for dictionaries and resource books which include using dictionaries to help translate between English and the student's original language, as well as resource books which are useful for adapting and replacing the course material from a course book. In the seventh section, we learned about the different learning tools that are available for computers which include using word processor programs like Microsoft Word, EFL CDs with course books, reference tools like dictionaries, email services like Gmail and Hotmail, video clips, Youtube videos, podcasts and MP3s, and online resources like online dictionaries and ESL websites.
