After watching and comparing both videos, I was able to draw major conclusions between the teacher and the students. The teacher in video one was far more stern than in video two, along with this, his students in video one seemed confused and nervous by his demeanor, opposed to video two. Besides this I was able to pick out when the teacher was using the Engage, Study, or Activate phases, and notice how effective it was for the students. I found that the Bingo example in the second video was a far more effective Activate phase, than the activate activity in video one. Overall the comparing and contrasting of the two videos left me with great examples and lessons learned.
