This unit presents an overview of the qualities of teachers and learners, and how these two groups interact with each other. First, it provides a list of qualities that make a "good" teacher, then provides summaries of the various roles teachers assume. The unit then progresses to describing various qualities in learners, including qualities that might make learning more difficult, and qualities that might encourage learning (such as strong motivation). The unit also describes various levels of English proficiency.
