I felt that the videos (both 1 and 2) gave good examples of what to do and what not to do in teaching lower level students English. The strength of the teacher's ability to engage the students with more enthusiasm in the second video far outweighed the first, seeing that He (the teacher) himself acted more enthusiastic ion the second video. It was almost pathetic that in the first video the teacher did not even introduced himself or ask the student's names individually, scolding the latecomers. ESA is presented clearly in the second video. The teacher should be more careful of his own mistakes on the board in the first video! Another attention to detail which I found amusing was that in both classes, everyone did not wear shoes! This is something i can identify with in the Japanese culture, although in a classroom with floors like in these two videos, we usually wear shoes! Very interesting! Some of the questions in this test are... again... "tricky" and I have a feeling my scores will not be up to par because of that.
