This unit covers all the grammar related to the future tense. It is a lot more complicated than the preset tense but since I have been teaching for more than 5 years this unit was fairly easy for me.
There are 7 future tenses, the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, going +to be , the present simple and present continuous which have future meanings. For each tense we looked at how to form it, its usage, and different activities on how to teach it in the classroom.
I got many new activity ideas from this unit. I consider the future tense one of the most complicated topics in the english language to teach and this unit helped me by giving me ideas on how to implement it, for example making saunders write a diary is a good exercice for almost any future tense.
