This unit is about equipment and teaching aids. It explains how to use each equipment and when. For example videos can be a good tool to teach vocabulary and grammar but must not be over-used or else the students will not communicate. Using a video recorder to allow the students to auto-evaluate themselves, is also a great idea.
I found about half of this chapter interesting but the other half not relevant, I will explain why.
This unit shows us what equipment we have use in a classroom. I think some of this is out of date, I haven't used a cassette or tape recorder for over five years and I don't think I will ever use one. The links to dictionaries and teaching materials were very useful though. I have copied many names and plan to have a look for them.
