This unit covers testing in the classroom for a variety of purposes. It first discusses using tutorials to evaluate students and asking students to evaluate the course. Then, it covers various types of tests, including placement tests, diagnostic tests, progress tests, and practice tests for external exams. The unit ends with a list of common external exams and their purposes. In this unit, I feel that I have gained familiarity with some of the external standards students might wish to meet, and the different usages of language each of these examinations tests.
