Of the ten units given in the ITTT course, this one was the least valuable. Memorizing the names levels of British based English language exams is of little importance to those of us outside the UK teaching English to younger students. The types of placement exams for adult students is of little interest to me. That being said, I did learn the difference between a placement test and a diagnostic test. As for practice tests, external tests, and progress tests, their titles are self explanatory.
