On Managing Classes I have learned that there are various factors into properly conducting a lesson and that success and enjoyment in class will depend on things such as body language, group organization, and classroom arrangement. I've learned that the different ways of grouping students result in different outcomes in terms of how much student talk time versus teacher talk time there is, and that it is important to establish as much student talk time as needed. I've also learned that classroom arrangement can alter the tone and atmosphere of the classroom lesson and that there are many things to take into consideration when considering these arrangements. In addition, I've learned how important it is to do a variety of classroom management styles in order to keep lessons fresh and not too stale and predictable. Through this unit course I've also been able to apply some of the classroom management styles I've learned with some of the teacher coworkers I work with and will continue to observe these remarks and further improve them in the classes to come.
