In this unit I have learned the seven most common forms of the future tense- this includes: Future Simple, Future Continuous, Future Perfect, Future Perfect Continuous, Be going + Infinitive, Present Simple, and Present Continuous. For each form, I have learned very useful information that covered the forms, usages, and typical student error and mistakes that arise out of each form. In addition to this, I have also learned some useful teaching ideas that will help target each future tense form that will hopefully provide students with good practice. I personally wasn't aware of how many future forms there were, so each detailed explanation was very beneficial to myself which I believe will help further my understanding of English grammar and will help me with any grammatical questions that will come from my students or colleagues.
