For this unit on Lesson Planning, I have learned some essential tips on planning and executing a lesson in the classroom. For one, I've learned that the objective of planning a lesson covers some important factors that will benefit future lessons and the teacher's teaching, such as that lesson planning provides a record of what students have learned and whether or not the lesson was successful or not. I've also learned that it is essential to be flexible. In addition, my knowledge of properly conducting a lesson has increased. For example, I learned some important things to include in a lesson plan, such as learner objectives, personal aims, and anticipated problems, notes that I wouldn't have thought of prior to this unit. Finally, I learned that monitoring one's lesson is needed in order to further improve one's teaching.
