It was really interesting to see the differences between fluency and accuracy further elaborated on in this section. I can truly understand the roles that each play in lesson planning. The description of how handwriting should be a personal thing was also very affirming. In the town where I teach, the instructors want students to follow set "stroke orders" for writing letters. I tried to explain that this wasn't a thing for most native speakers of English, despite stroke order being very important for kanji. I see handwriting as a form of personal expression, so it was nice seeing this reaffirmed in this section. I won't rock the boat as an ALT though.
