Four forms of the past tense were covered in this unit, which included: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect, and Past Perfect Continuous. Through each form of the past tense, I was able to learn the proper forms of each and how to identify which is which. I also learned more detailed explanations of each usage and some common errors/mistakes made by students. I addition to these points, I also learned that there are many irregular forms regarding the past simple and that there is no easy way for students to properly know every one without studying for themselves. Finally, I learned some useful activities and ideas to help students with each tense.
